Hello 2013!
I'm not sure exactly how this happened, but somehow, it is already 2013. It feels like just yesterday that we were getting our Santa lists ready and rushing out to meet him in a light snowfall.
Actually, we were lucky in that Rudolph and Frosty showed up too! Nalini was a bit shy about meeting them, indicating that Santa's beard was VERY scary.
However, her nervousness didn't diminish her excitement on Christmas morning, which we were grateful to spend with Didima.
The next day, we headed up to the White Mountains of NH where we were joined by JishuMama, RichaMamima, and Mila and where Sonali tried skiing for the first time. From what I hear, she was a natural.
After a few days of fun in the snow, we came back to our place to spend some lazy days with family. Mila loved opening more gifts. This is her personalized book of Bengali words authored by Sonali, Didima, and Nalini.
We celebrated New Year's a day early, since our party was breaking up just before NYE.
And before everyone left, we wanted to take some photos in the girls' matching jammies (thanks, RichaMamima)!
But getting all three girls to sit int he same spot with smiles simultaneously was a tall order. This is about as close as we got.
And it quickly devolved into hilarity.
Hope your New Year is full of love and laughter!

Oh, it looks as if you all had such a happy time with your family during the holidays. We did in Monongahela also. I love the matching pajamas! Just wanted to let you know, the eagle cam is back up (Eagle Cam WV), and although there are no eggs yet, the adults are at the nest.
