Peek -a - BOO!

Happy halloween, everyone! It took us a few days, but we hope the photos below were worth the wait.

Here's Sonali and J working on a pumpkin made from stuff around our backyard...well, except for the pickle eyebrows! Sonali thought this pumpkin was so hilarious and kept asking to see the funny face.





And now, for the main attraction, our little lion! Sonali was really excited in the morning to put on her lion costume, roar, and go to school. The best part of this costume is the giant padded belly!



All of Sonali's friends looked very cute on Halloween. As you can see, princesses and firemen were the popular costumes. Together with their friends from the infant, toddler 1, and preschool classrooms, all the kids went on a parade around campus, making stops at admissions, professors' offices, and even the president's office!



The whole idea of Halloween was so thrilling that Sonali decided to skip her nap at school, awaiting her fun trick-or-treating. Although she was tired, the draw of putting her costume back on to collect candy somehow allowed her to dip into her energy reserves.



And then she asked to go trick-or-treating (sometimes Halloweening) every night that week! I guess it's official - she is a chocoholic, just like Mom and Dad!
