Spectacular Fall Field Trips

The fun activities at school have been very frequent at school this fall, so we thought we'd share some pictures from the latest activities.

Here is Sonali with her friends at the neighborhood fire house. They all held the walking rope and walked a few blocks to see the fire truck and fire people.



They also made a morning outing to the neighborhood pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin for the classroom.





Yesterday, they carved it into the Boston Red Sox logo to celebrate the big World Series win over the weekend. They even named their new classroom hamster "Fenway" in celebration of the local team too.

I must admit, though, that the Boston-o-lantern, while very cool, might not compete with the crazy pumpkins we've been making at home the last few days. Pictures of our Halloween fun will be coming soon.
