Summertime family fun

Yesterday the last of our long weekend guests made the journey back home, and our house is very empty and quiet now. We were lucky to have my brother, sister-in-law, mother, and mother-in-law all visiting for Sonali's birthday, brother's birthday, and Nalini's arrival.

Here are the two sisters getting ready for the big 3rd birthday bash:



Sonali was thrilled that her two best school friends were able to come to the party. They've been together since Sonali was three months old, and now, they have developed a whole repertoire of elaborate games. I am guessing they are planning their next round of "Goodbye" or "Monster" over lunch.

The next day was JishuMama's birthday, and we enjoyed a pizza party for him. Sonali couldn't resist helping to open the gifts!
