Summer slips away
Our first one was a couple weekends ago when we took a trip to see our old friends A & L and their two kids, K-M & H. After meeting in Stanford, A and J went in different directions, eventually ending up on the same coast. A is two hours north on an island off the coast of Maine. Their kids are nearly the same ages as ours, and we all had a great time visiting, relaxing, and enjoying island life.
Here's J getting ready for a beach picnic.
Little N was equally excited to be at the beach!
Here's S communing with nature on our private beach.
Father and daughter are tide pooling! They found some crabs, tons of snails, and even a small starfish.
And here are S and I enjoying a rock formation called "whaleback" under a bright blue sky.
More soon on the kids' annual art show!

Beautiful island to spend summer weekends! These precious pictures become super special as the children grow. Enjoy your summer days.
You should always wear white, Shoumita! Great picture, I love the contrast with the rock and sky. You should hug & kiss the camera man! This is really a precious picture
