Wellesley Wonderful Weekend
Lately we've been rather focused on home remodeling issues, but we did manage to take a weekend to enjoy the annual "Wellesley Wonderful Weekend" with Didima.
On Saturday, many town landmarks had open houses. The firehouse was a big draw, and we were lucky to meet up with many of our friends there including two Rohans! The fire fighters let kids spray with their hose....
...check out their trucks...
...and even drive them!
We also went to open houses at the police station and municipal light and power before retreating to the woods to build fairy houses with our friends Sarah and Rachel.
Sunday evening there was also live music and fireworks, which were too late for Nalini to enjoy, but maybe she'll be able to join in next year.
In the meantime, our focus has turned to preschool graduation and Nalini's birthday. T minus two weeks! When did our kids get so big?

What a marvelous weekend! I used to build fairy houses also. Aren't they fun?
Open house weekend at Wellesley was very nice. I enjoyed Rohan, Nalini and Sonali using the Fireman's hose to put out a fire. I think it was a great experience for them.
