The sun's so hot, I forgot to go home

We're back from a great trip to Mexico. Actually, we returned last week, but in an effort to make the vacation feeling last longer, I put myself on internet probation so that the work email wouldn't be a total buzz kill!

It's hard to summarize the trip in just a few words, but the highlights were...

hanging out with good friends, P and T,


meeting their wonderful daughter R, and watching R and Nalini bond,


watching the wildlife that lived in our hotel complex,


playing in the pool with Sonali,


good old fashioned rest and relaxation at the beach,



and a day trip to Xcaret (a Mexican ecopark with cultural performances and historical exhibits too).






It was an amazing trip, and we're so glad to have had the chance to get away. We also had a wonderful Easter full of Easter egg hunts, brunch with the neighbors, and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Easter pictures will be coming soon, and we are also all looking forward to Didima's visit and Sonali's big school play this week!
