Memorial Day with Didima!

Daddy was celebrating the wedding of dear friends (Congrats E&E!) last weekend, so Didima came up here to visit with (and spoil!) her girls. We had loads of fun at the playground and at the Aquarium!



It's a bit hard to see here, but Sonali and Didima are enjoying watching the penguins. However, Sonali's favorite things at the aquarium, by far, were the two divers that were feeding the fish. She could have watched them for hours, and she was very impressed when she saw them climb out at the top of the tank. For days, she's been talking about those amazing divers - I can't wait to take her diving with us someday.





Sonali was so glad that Daddy made it back, that she wrote a song to commemorate the occasion:

In other news, Sonali continues to add to her handbook on how the world works through her careful observations. Her most recent note-to-self is, "If Mommy says no, maybe I should ask Daddy." I thought we had a few more years before that one appeared!
