Sonali's first Saraswati Puja

Hello, Sonali fans!

We're sorry for the brief posting hiatus. Our little family has been quite sick over the last week. Sonali was sent home for a couple days with a fever, but we're all slowly getting healthy again.

Luckily we were well enough to celebrate Sonali's first Saraswati Puja this weekend. This is a big Bengali holiday honoring the goddess of knowledge and learning. There are many aspects of this celebration that center around children, so it was fun to be able to take Sonali and meet with many friends there as well.

Speaking of education, tomorrow Sonali has music classes at school! She likes the tambourine.
